What is HyperDrop?

HyperDrop is Rhei BioTech’s commercial microfluidic product family for droplet generation and precision fluid control. It combines controllers or pump products, compatible microfluidic chips and workflow consumables as the company’s current practical product entry point.

Product family

Choose components through the workflow they need to create.

HyperDrop is organized around a working system: fluid control, chip geometry and compatible consumables. Begin with a system bundle or explore the component categories.

Workflow configuration

Controller + chip + consumables + research context.

A practical HyperDrop setup is a coordinated configuration rather than a single isolated component.

HyperDrop uses a high-throughput step-emulsification architecture. The dispersed phase travels through parallel shallow microchannels and forms droplets as it enters a deeper collection region across a controlled step. Changes in interfacial curvature and Laplace pressure drive breakup. The illustration describes the principle, not exact chip geometry or measured throughput.

    Define the workflow

Start with the intended droplet or fluid-control task.

  2. 02
    Select fluid control

Identify the appropriate controller or pump starting point.

  3. 03
    Match the chip

Choose a compatible microfluidic geometry for the workflow.

  4. 04
    Confirm consumables

Align oils and other workflow components with current documentation.
